This probably isn't the right place to place this topic, but I'll post it anyway.
About five minutes previous to this post, there were MASSIVE quits on the TS Server. Several users named "Ilikesex" with various numbers were leaving. I could not see which channel since I was looking very quickly. I don't know what happened, but the server shut down afterwards.

I remmeber playing a match against DS back in the old SW days SW4 maybe or it was just for fun on DS server, and we were on ER TS and all these noobs kept joining and then elaving and keepign the "new player, player left" noise constant for 5 mins. Thrawn came around after we reported it and nothing happened. Best thign when that happens and have a moderator/admin to sit in the ER tS waiting for them and they wont come by.Thats what Thrawn did.

IM any of us if u have the problem again. It could've been the server went down and u had the highest ping so u got the boot last.. It could have been an overload too..

First, let me apologize about this, there are spambots that people are using to spam TS servers like you witnessed last night. Even though there are supposed fixes to stop this it gets into a better spam bots vs. better fixes seesaw. Since I was in the TS during the time this happened as well, I shut down the server so I could get the spammers information and lock them out. In the future, I do not believe I will have to shut down the server.
Second, there are solutions, Ventrillo is harder to hack as a chat server but uses a lot more bandwidth than TS. Ventrillo does not have the features of TS, IMO. So the decision is what is the worse of the two evils.

To combat the "player left,joined" simply turn off the sounds for that in the setttings options.
