Okay rules are up for Hero Assault, although they may get changed a little depending on feedback I recieve.

I'd like to thank TR Yankeefan for contributing and also taking the time to write instructions for people wanting to use mod maps.

Hope to see more clubs sign up and make it a fun event for all

The rules fail to address glitches such as infinite choke, lightning choke, infinite run, infinite block, slow run, and whether or not it is fair for Fetts to be used in the matches. I do not think that it is fair for the mentioned glitches or "infinte" powers should be used. It is in my opinion that Fetts should not be used in heroes matches unless there is force. Also, it does not address whether dash linking is accepted which I believe should be accepted. Wall jumping is not mentioned, and I believe that unlike infantry, it is fair to have wall jumping in heroes, and it is a widely accepted factor in servers. In fact, I have not heard of wall jumping being discouraged in any heroes server.

Slam is not mentioned either. Slam is the aerial attack used by Mace Windu and Emperor, which are not force powers but are commonly referred to as such. Double pull is not mentioned either. Some say it is a glitch and others say it is not. No matter what, it is indeed an unfair advantage because it is possible for a single double pulling Aayla Secura to defeat every player of an inexperienced opponent's team.

Stop it already, saber throw is allowed along with everything else that is common with the game,if it wasnt allowed it would be in the rules.

I believe he meant in the no force options. And it is not nit picking, it is like choosing specials, awards, and heroes or not in conquest. Also, it is like having a glitched shot that kills no matter who or where it hits.

I think people are forgetting something, this event is intended to be a fun event(well are events are but this is not a regular event)it was set up as an extra event on a month that allows for them.

Many of us felt it would be a good thing to have something thats fun and not full of the same things that have been occupying events as of late.
That being said,Im again stressing that the rules are the rules.Im sure as in any event some people who use them to thier advantage. But Im not going to allow any complainst or accusations this event from anyone, especially if its a claim about someone using something thats not even in the rules.

Again everyone just have fun with this event and chill out for a change

I understand that you are trying to make this fun, but let's face it, no one has fun with glitchers rampaging through every event. This is my first time with Ecliptical Realms, and I am very dissapointed without having even played yet. I just hope that glitchers are not in this, since they apparantly get a free ride.

We have problems with glitchers in every game, every event eer know to gaming. The problem is its hard to prove. And for what one person may conisder a glitch another may see as part of the game.Theres always a fine line unless its something very obvious like wallhacking etc...

But I will say that going forward, depending how activity in this special event goes,we will definately look into adjusting some rules and weeding out things that could be unfair or make a match not fun.If the event gets enough interest to warrant future ones then we will definatley have some discussions about certain gameplay things that need to be addressed.

I would reccommend that people who are participating in this event to keep a daily eye on these forums for announcements regarding any possible rule addons that may happen due to gameplay situations that may warrant it.

Okay, I played a 1v1 today with sithy and in 1 of the matches he died 11 times even thoughI only got 10 points. This would be from 1 he kills me but he dies anyway and its not credited to my kill but his death only. And his death from that doesnt credit to the point total either. Is this okay to have it as 11 deaths or soemtiems more in other cases because I know this happens in matches when it says player____ killed player 2, player _____ died.
