The most anticipated game of the year is coming July 17.PC Gamer has a write up on this in this months mag calling it the best Multiplayer Gaming they have ever seen.They also call it a Battlefiled Killer referring to it being the game that will wipe crummy EA's Battlefiled seeries off the planet.
I'm sure interest in this will be high and I hope we can get an event going on ER shortly after the games release.

Negative. I'm in the beta and at it's current state IT's meh at best. Not the battlefield killer PC gamer has said. Really it should be called the RTCW killer. Nothing like Battlefield. More like quake.

i agree with big_rich, im in the beta aswell and at its current state it isnt that good, mainly cause the game play is somewhat lacking, probaly cause one side can easily be stacked, or because there is only one map. ill probaly get it and the same with about 5 other SA members.

It depends on what kind of game you enjoy playing. If you like quake deathmatch style gameplay then you might like it. A LOT of strife jumping and bunny hoping. VERY fast paced. Graphics are ok, to be honest I think valves source engine still pwns ID's Doom 3 engine. It's very much like the original ET. But with vehicles, no real squad play like BF2, and the physics for the vehicles seem to be wrong. Maybe by the demo they will get it worked out? IDK, if anyone want's my beta key let me know.

Is it possible though being its a demo that they limited the style of play to one aspect of what may be made avaialbe?Cause a lot of the reviews I have read say its a great team based multiplayer game.

Alright, don't get me wrong. It's a team based game. Just not a squad based game. It's nothing like BF2. Go download a copy of W:ET, play it. That is exactly how the game play is, just with vehicles. Everyone on your side is trying to do certain goals. SO in that since it is a teamwork based game. If you like W:ET style of gameplay then you'll like quake wars. If you like BF2/2142 style of gameplay then you might not like it so much.

I was planning on buying it when it comes out but I may wait now till its been out for a while to get some feedback.A lot of mixed feedback.And personally I would listen to a gamers feedback over a magazines review anyday.

Yeah I'm going to wait to see the demo before I fork out my hard earned cash. At it's current state, it's just not the game for me. In fact I perfer to play games like GRAW and The new Insurgency mod for HL2.

plus the fact i was pushed back again till sept 1 but like they said it will be ready when its done mind you its still in beta so take it with a grain of salt as far as a BF killer they are 2 compleatly diffrent games and gameplay so how can you compair then play ET:wolfinstein and you understand.

well my pre-order status said i would receive it on 10/01/07 and since bestbuy.com is workin with enemy territory to sell it i figure they r right. but after a week or so my status is back to bein backordered so idk.

If it is for sure then they will announce a Demo date soon.
