Ok well given the excitement generated from the current Hero Assault Week,its been suggested that we replace Space Week with Hero Assault in the every other roatation schedule.Which would mean a Hero Assault and Flag Week roation alternating each month on the 3rd Fridays.We of course could still do Space Weeks instead in the months tha have a 5th Friday as the special event.
Please vote in the poll and any comments.Also note tht if Hero Assault is decided upon by the community as wanted in the roatation,then we will be re addressing the rules for this event and make them more reflective of an actual event rather then just a fun event.
This poll will be up until August 1,2007 .Space Week is scheduled for 3rd Friday of July as planned and Flag Week for 3rd friday of August as planned.
August there will be Hero Assault Week 2 at the end of the month cause its a month with a 5th Friday.So we will be looking at the results of this poll as well as participation levels from events when making a decision on the schedules.
So vote and play to support your favorite and we will see what happens.

excitement being maybe a few more games then last space week? lol i say we keep this as a special event and perhaps try to make next space week a 1 flag see who would like that idea my son.

I believe although hero may get more votes i dont think a switch is necessary i think the coolest thing about heroes is that it is a special event. I think it is getting more attention because it has never been done. Say we stopped flag week from being an event for six months we can assume the excitement for when it comes back it will rank in alot of games. So I think just leave it a special event vis if u know whats good for swbf2

I personally enjoy hero assault more than space but too much of something is bad so not sure. I vote for Herroooo Asssault

Tie so far. I chose space just because playing HvV is fun sometimes (tournament wise). But to make it regular for tournements doesnt sound too fun due too the so many exploits and sorts people use that you just cant help. But in space there isnt as much that causes horribleness, unless u flat out dont like space. As for people thinking of skill, my opinion space is better for skill ingame. To me, its more skillful to go destroy ships and consoles and avoid getting blown up then to go face a constant center-blocker and never end up killing them. Altough sometimes HvV is fun, but every now and then. You can disagree though but thats just my opinion.

Well as I said if Hero Assault does win then it would mean writing up an enitre set of rules to deal with exploits and other things that people have brought to light.
As for space,this biggest thing nobody seems to be aware of is that unless you use a buffer map,then starting a space map with a set AI number is useless cause it will default back to 16 once map begins which makes for a lot of bots.
This poll will be up for a while so spread the word and get people to vote.I dont really call 20 votes cast being very reflective of the amount of players we have here who play on a regualr basis.

I guess that I brook the tie, for now. I liked HAW, but it has the potential to be slightly problematic with the exploits available and how people might get into fights about the rules, although i like how we had the choice about force in order to please most sides.In the end however I voted for SW inorder to help stivel, at least a little bit, of the controversies. Perhaps if we get used to it and manage to come up with some rules that a majority like, then I might change my vote. Although I do love a good dogfight

Dont want to mess with ur feelings its just a matter of trust for us for us! Should we change the rotation and leave our dreams behind , or stay weve been through this b4 dont say we wanna change dont u know ur on ur own! can we start over! give me an answer? can we make up our mind! To much of a good thing may be bad u know! i say we can just leave this like it is these changes are perhaps hurting us as ER indviduals. The time that we have together for this game is limited because of the losing interest my interest stays strong but i know other ppl not so much, we must ban together men.
Such as this CW13 not the best activity? yes, many problems? no Was it fun yes? id take the fun and no problems over activity any day.

looks like hero assualt is in the lead. butit does seem hero assualt would get more participation regularly then space these days. We should c how this SW7 goes, too bad I cant make it, Im in Italy no games.
