User Profile Hello everyone, Sinty Gypsy here letting you all know that I have made some basic guides for Jedi Assault. Over the past year or so I've trained many players and will soon be taking a bit of a breather from Assault. I'd strive to be a well rounded player, equally as good in all types of battle, but as it seems I have focused too much time in Assault. I am hoping these guides will lessen the work load on me and will allow me to start my own Conquest training. Upon completion of my video guides I will start focusing my attention solely on Conquest.

From that link you can view all my videos. I will be filming and narrating basic and advanced guides for each character, blocking and nulling, some nifty tricks, theory and tactics, and so on. Basically everything you will need to know about Jedi Assault.
Warning: I tend to flame a small group of people. Know that it is not personal and it's all in good fun, as you will see those people have posted comments on the video guides and are enjoying it just as much as anyone else There is a bit of swearing and i does contain some mature content and adult themes...

User Profile Wow guys, he posted up some videos to try and help everyone out in Hero Assault Week and you trash him. Granted he joked about his IQ, but as usual this turned into a spam and flame fest.
In case you haven't noticed, GFAQ is excellent at the Assault map, and is only recently turning to participation here. Insults to his clan are unwarranted and definately not in the atmosphere we are trying to create here on ER. Keep your childish insults to yourself and direct your efforts to killing in the game.
Sinty, comparing us to ants is also not an intelligent way to make a first impression but I realize why you were frustrated. However, I do appreciate your videos because I learned that there's more to Assault than button mashing, hehe.

User Profile no actually boba he trashed us b4 we trashed him to get that straight. Secondly we probly dont care at all if were Ants to u in hero assault cuz its the noobiest mode on the game by far, and here in ER we strive for conquest and flag which are the 2 modes that we like the best cuz it demonstrates skill for this game , hero assault is just a side mode so ppl would have something to do also. I mean space owns hero assault in my opinion cuz it takes 10 times more skill.
But i like ur videos in that department so good job lil guy.

Oh No! Somebody is better then us at Heroes! Oh damn, my world has been turned upside down. It can't be true! Somebody who only plays Heroes is better at it then all the players who play conquest and modes that take actual skill. I refuse to believe it!

User Profile I'd like to intervene in this because this is getting bad and fast. I'm Swampsith, leader of the GameFaqs clan, and 1st of all Sinty posted what was to only be a helpful post. He did NOT flame anyone at 1st. Then Yankee seemingly made a mistake in his post because nothing came out of it, Sinty took this in a bad way obviously thinking it was spam so retaliated anyway he could.
Problem is you guys are so onto your idea that Jedi takes absolutely no skill, which is not true, it just does not appeal to everyone like i know space and conquest/ctf don't appeal to some people. You guys hate that mode obviously, and therefore want to think it's skill-less instead. I can certify that as someone that plays in all 3 game types (conquest, Jedi for and no force, and Space), i have to say it takes different skills in EACH game mode. I do like Conquest better i admit, it is the "main" game mode, but that does not mean jedi isn't good either. I have taken at least 1 year in thsi game to start getting good at Jedi, i at 1st thought it was just terrible, so i stuc to conquest mostly. Then i decided to give Jedi a go as i knew some of my fellow clan mates we loving it. And now i know it takes huge skill to get to an elite level that i have not gotten to in Jedi, particularly in No force. So before you start another endless war on what is the skill-less gaming type, give a friggin go at the other game types, and try to fight the elites in those game modes, because if it's so skill-less, you won't need to do much will you?
If you can't figure that out, then i guess Sinty was right... But i think that if you stop bashing the 1st person that comes up in your tiny restricted universe and tries to show you some tricks that you do not master in 1 second because it takes training to do so, then you might not have been bashed in return.
End this stupid Jedi/Conquest/space war, people enjoy all 3 of them, and it DOES take skill to master all 3 of them, and the fact you might hate a game mode does not mean it takes no skill, otherwise i would say that about space if i was like you guys because i do not really like space but i know there are very skilled people out there. Same with Jedi, so deal with it.

User Profile Firstly ty swamp for the defence, but i dont need it against lesser players such as most of these people who posted hate comments. I like checklists, so I'll make one out for you guys.
1. I've been in intense training in assault for over a year. Come tell me it takes little skill to do what I do. Please. In fact, I'll take 2 on 1's to prove it, even 3 on 1s, any takers? Thought not. If your not one of a handful of people, you will lose. I assure you.
2. I play conquest and space. Some of you seem like you dont even play Assault at all. So tell me ...why would i care what a player who isnt well rounded in the game thinks?
3. All you elites of Conquest, Space, or even Assault...I have a message to you. Coming here and acting like you know something about the game, when you dont even play the other battle types, makes you look like a fool, I was trying to help out the massive amount of people who want help in assault. I train new people every week...can you say that about yourself? I dont have the time to train people every single day.
4. The assault elites: Mawk, Kavakos, Zbad, Arsenal, Maybe sneek (hes the best of all), are all literally untouchables in assault, but guess what, none of them play conquest or space
The conquest elites like Stewie, Leet, ect, they dont play Assault.
...I PLAY ALL 3 BATTLE TYPES equally.
So as a final note, when you all get good enough to play in the big boy club with me, I'll accept your bashing assault. Because here is the fact of how a fight would go down
I fight any one of you in Conquest and fair nicely, maybe not win, but not totally suck. Same goes for space. However, you play me in assault and I'll mail your limbs to your family in fedex boxes. I dout the majority of you can say that for yourselves.

User Profile This thread is getting out of hand. It has become a mud fest of who can act more childish. I had hoped you all said your piece but now you're really making yourself out to be a immature Mike.
Truly skilled players do not have to brag about thier skill, it is automatically acknowledged by their peers. You felt the need to not only slam the people who retaliated to your insult, but also the rest of this ER community myself included. So I will point out that your victory ratio was a mere 1.75 in the Hero Assault Week 1. Heck, for as good as you are, Me and Jimmy even beat you in our match and we've never really played Assault.
Nobody said you weren't good at Assault, instead they challenged you and your clan to sign up for our Conquest, Space and Flag Week events- of which GFAQ has not made an appearance.
So man up your "Big Boy Club", as you put it and instead of picking a pointless fight against this entire community, have your battles against the "lesser players" in the tournaments. You're not about to gain any credibility here if you choose to continue to defy the Moderators and have your first few posts here all be bashing players here. Currently Space Week is running and Conquest Week is on the way, I certainly hope to see you there to vent your frustrations rather than continue this pointless debate over who can kill who.
Until then, this thread is frozen.
