Sign ups are open for a new Seasonal Ladder.It is a 5v5 No Bot event which lasts from Oct 1 - Dec 22
The rules and certain details for match submissions are still being worked out but sign up now to ensure your club gets a spot in the season!

It's a good thing ER doesn't have to copy other people's ideas in order to try to spark life in to there system. Oh wait they did copy gamerrampage.com, thanks viz.

Actually I havent even finsihed doing the rules for this event,and the ladder system here has been in place for a long time just not used much.That kind of coding doesnt get done overnight so I would to wonder who is attempting to copy who.And I dont vist that site except onetime and when I did all I saw was a SWBF1 thing so not even aware if thier doing SWBFII or not.BUt if they then couldnt you accuse them of copying GWL?

Ok ...well because gamerramge was brought into this mix I should say something....."something"
1. Why don't we all just get along and not create stupid drama? (hey there's an idea)
2. GR is just a site for a "potential" tournament gamer play.
3. This is not the place/arena to talk about it.
4. Let's just play with stats hidden and shut the "F" up 
5. Why don't we all thank Mael for creating ER and be grateful for what was so freely given to us? (there's another idea)
6. Everyone just shut up and play and go back to #4 & #5

Well put Mael. It is your site and you "should" be able to run it however you want. You know, since you own it, it only makes sense.
I dont know why people are always trying to put a negative spin on almost everything here. Can't people just play anymore, or are peoples lives so great that they need to start drama on a gaming board?

Just reading through this topic and No I do not play SWBF2 but I feel that some of the posts in this topic is not restricted to just SWBF2.
1. Copying off GR? wow... So Im sure ur using Original non-baught scripts coded by GR staff right? and Your site themes are all home made right?
2. Copying off GR because of doing a ladder? ER has been doing Ladders for years. I remember ladders being made long before the idea of GR came along. Its obvious the public in the section had some interest in a Ladder therefore being a good Game Director Vis Realised this and made his own.
3.There is nothing Original about GR in my opinion therefore nothing can be copied from it unless someone is copying and pasting ur rules and other posts that are your property. Other than that there is no valid claim of anyone stealin your "ideas" because those "Ideas" have been around long before you where playing in online tournys.
4. I will not post here again this is my 1 and only post. I do not wish to dis-respect mael and what he has built by flaming anyone here. I stated all fact and its not personal. If anyone wants to talk to me and argue this out I'd be more than happy to my Xfire is...

Hey TDO...i don't think that is what was really being implied. I give you props for standing up for Mael and ER but I think the SWBF mods should handle the "job" in this division/thread because it is theirs. That's just my opinion.
Also, i've never played in an ER ladder let alone people even talk about one for a long time. I like the weekly tournys here. That's all I know within these/our stomping grounds at ER but hey, that's just me. Out of no where, gamers/clans in the community just started activly trying to set up their own gig for a tournament at the sametime. Well let's just leave it at that. There is no need to bust out and create un-necessary drama. Don't you think we've all had enough? LET's ALL JUST PLAY!

On another note, Gamerrampage did not invent the idea of ladders. It has been around for a long time, I know I played in them back in Battlestats (BSC) prior to joining this site for tournaments. As TDO said, to accuse theft of such a widely used idea is pointless.
