Alright everyone, so we went with the hidden stats for the past Conquest week since it won in the poll. What were your opinions of it? I'd rather not post a poll up because I'd like more definded feedback.
I personally thought it was a good idea in theory, but when it was in use, it drove me nuts not being able to look at the standings.

I liked how everything was implemented and was dissapointed I couldn't participate more (dang college internet )

Perhaps keeping the stats hidden but show where clans are in ranking (ie I even though I can't see their stats I can see 1st-toh 2nd-lt 3rd-dw etc)

Well from my stand point, I think it went alright, however the stats were revealed a little a head of the supposed time, which was kinda bad. However the turn out was not so good, but school has just started which does not leave a lot of time for gaming for the kids.

Overall I think the event went all right, there were a few drawbacks in my case, but other then participation, I think the way the stats are hidden work fine. I however would like to see a change in the weigh of a win ratio in the scoring system. I think a win ratio should have a bigger impact on the standings (for club rating). Thanks,Anakin

Havent you guys been complaining about too many stat changes and such and now you post reccomending a stat change that would benefit yourself? So is this the direction this is heading in,more demands to benefit yourself regardless of what the community may want?

i liked it for the shear fact that no one knew where the were and every body went all out. Unlike some events where people didnt even get online cause one person had a commanding lead and their was no point to play. This way every one has to keep playing and no one can say well why should i play im ahead. Their like "I got to keep going I don't want to possably fall behind of another person

I agree Skoal. Visualizer is playing the -=DE=- is evil game, and I am not going to start his game. All I will say viz is that, a win ratio should have a bigger impact. Not a 20 points difference of an impact, but just a little bit more weigh then some of the other categories. I understand what you are talking about, but it is a suggestion, no one is demanding it. Oh well, anyways, I agree Skoal and I think it worked good, but the stats were released a bit before the end which should be fixed.

Not quite sure why TR is still on these forums as they apparently no longer want to participate in the game. Anywho, way to go Weezer, I'd like to spectate that match.

Nothing was actually ever said to indicate that TR had nothing it wanted to do with the game. That was LW if I remember correctly.
TR merely decided to take a month of to resolve some internal issues. We're signed up for the next event so we'll see you there!

On another note, thanks for the quick feedback you guys. We're trying to make this event fun and fair again, so your input on how the event went with hiding the stats helps.

In response to Weezer's posts. Not trying to start anything here but I personally am a man of my word. If I said I was going to stop playing a game ( for whatever reason ) then I do so. Or if I say that I am goig to do anything, I do it.

When I left -=DE=- I left for my personal reasons and I left the BF2 community for other reasons. That being said, in both circumstances I did not post flaming remarks or try to humiliate people with wise crack anticks, I respectfully bowed out.

Take or leave my advice here. This is an online video game community. Try to remember that. Whatever has been said to you in the past, be the bigger man and leave it there. If something has been said to you, just let it go. However, if you enjoy just trying to dig at people, well then thats on you and I feel sorry for you that you enjoy that kind of attention.

To the admins. I wish you the best of luck in this venture. It seems that there is a lot of bad blood and I truely hope that you can all work this out. BF2 was a fun game, hopefully it will be again for everyone soon.

LW might have stopped seriously competing but I still see them ingame. Also, sorry Fett I thought you had stopped playing because I'd not seen you ingame.

No worries turtle. I haven't played SWBFII much the past month anyways. Most of it was in 2142, so it's understandable.
