I would call it underminding the ER event for Conquest. Lets see not 1 match played in Conquest 16. Most sportsman would want the competition. But I guess it makes some of the not so good players and clans feel better that 1 less competitor is in the ring. But then again isn't that what it was really about to begin with? Kudos to Musa and Vis for their slander campaign against DR. I've talked to some members in other clans that find their leaders repulsive for buying into all the lies they were told. Good luck to all the clans playing in the Underminding event for ER.

Oh one thing I forgot to add. This is nothing more than blackballing. So all of you that cried about it. Guess what ... You're doing it. Just on a broader scale.

It's blackballing Wasp. Or is it the other clans just don't want the competition? I think it's both.

We weren't invited Crazyturtle. See there was a smear campaign by Musa and Vis that has most of the other clans against DR now.
I've never done a damm thing to any of you.

This thread should be removed before it turns into a flaming war since some people are obviously out of touch with reality making stupid comments in an attempt to stir up more trouble once again.

Wow, news to me. It must be all that credible news you get fed to you from these people that create these "thumb your nose at Maelstrom" type of events.

This was not a thread to flame anyone. Just stating the facts as I see them. No we were not invited. Nor were we invited for the Flag invitational. All I know is it sure seems funny. No one wants to play in the scheduled events such as conquest 16. But miraculously find the time to make sure they get to play in the "blackballing" event excluding my clan.

What I don't understand, is that for a month I sat my club TR out of events to let things cool down after some banishments and because of the fact I was working with DE with a merger. I took a lot of flack and accusations for this especially from you Visualizer for not having my club signed up.
Now instead you obviously no longer want my club's participation. So for our own sanity, can you please make up your mind? (-DR-) is a very competitive club and though we have come from a colorful background, we have every intention of fully supporting this event and Maelstrom's decisions.
We as a mod team ask all of you to please question what information you have been told by people who have reason to misconstrue and alter facts- Both by people banned from events and from former Moderators who may be a little heated. Even I have been told information that is mere hearsay and I certainly hope is not true.
If club captains are still wanting to make this work, I will work with Maelstrom to schedule a meeting where we can all sort out misconceptions so that we can squelch the rumors.
Thanks guys.

I don't know what all this fuss is about, but from what little I've heard, some people feel like they were blackballed, so the "blackballers" took a break. The people played a few months of events, the "blackballers" came back and found the site to be dead.

As far as FL goes in this, I speak only for the majority (there will always be those that go against the norm), we grew tired of the drama for one, and the event honestly wasn't that fun. Sure, changes were made to accomodate people (eg privatized channles in teamspeak) but by then the damage had been done.

Now the fall season of new games is upon us and swbf2 is 2 years old. By this time in history after swbf 1 came out (nov 2004), swbf2 was coming out to renew interest (nov 2005). I'm not saying the game is dead but a site where people get together to play for an extended period of time certainly doesn't seem plausible for most clans anymore.

That and the times we did play were during the summer months when we actually had time to play rather than 60 hour work and 20 hour school weeks.

So please, drop all the drama about why it is no longer active, if you really want interest, don't cry about it, and go out and recruit again. If you're unwilling to do that, then shut your mouth.

Thanks guys.

Maybe if several of the past issues were addressed it would start something.
1.Nothing has ever been addressed regarding Vaders post saying he basically underminded what Myself and others were doing by saying he is the reason myself and Musa got removed.
2.The Flag/Space weeks dropped without asking the majority of the clubs how they felt about it.
3.Certain players allowed to do whatever they want and get away with it.Your own clan members were the ones calling for a boycott, not to mention the fark ER you had on your main homepage of your site.Werent you guys leaving ER not long ago?

Now some clans have decided they want to play and have fun without any drama and you calling it blackballing?Since when is a private invitational event blackballing, theres several clubs that werent invited, but its a private event. And as for Flag Invitational, werent you guys the ones calling for Flag to be removed from the shcedule cause of people being burnt out and now your complaining that because some people still want to play CTF and have an event your upset cause you arnt invited.Does that make sense?

The fact is Vis, (-DR-) and every other clan in ER for BF II should have ben invited, regardless of their level of interest in the event or lack there of.

Also, could you stop bringing up and blaming current issues on past issues? Its just causing more present instances of the same drama over and over again and not getting us anywhere. Your policy of locking topics and letting it blow over/under the rug while those invovled in the (-DR-) smeer campaign keeps up their happy work and serves only to contribute to this all. Sort out the issues please, stop running away from them. Just because we hate eachother doesnt mean we cant be civil.

I am locking this thread. I think enough has been said at this point.

We are moving on in this game area. Those that want to play the game and participate in events are welcome to do that. Those that was to continue to harbor bad feelings, point fingers, and dwell on the past are going to lose out.
