Maybe take Kashyyyk off the maplist...then people might play. As it is nobody likes Kashyyk and wouldn't want to play in it willingly if that's a map.

I apologize, I had some RL issues come up and could not respond.

What is an acceptable map to substitute?

If u set a password when making the team then that is it , If not tell him to leave that field blank and it should work.

Brackets will be setup on the morning of November 2nd. If teams are incomplete by November 2nd, There will be a 24 hour time limit after brackets are setup to receive an email or PM of the remaining team members. Otherwise, I will remove the team from the tournament. Let's get more teams signed up to make this event a good competition.

Well hey guys! so far this is looking to be a tournament of sweetness just a few things id like to question.
I'm wondering whether the style will be no cps or cps also, what about big maps like mustafar. It doesnt seem right to have a giganter of a match for a 2v2 but besides that is seems perfecto!

Maelstrom has that question covered Wasp
Brackets will be setup on the morning of November 2nd. Otherwise, I will remove the team from the tournament. Let's get more teams signed up to make this event a good competition.

Other than that cya during the competition Wasp and good luck to all the teams out there.

i know i speak for a lot of people when i say many of us were not able to sign up for various reasons or another. since several teams were kicked, does that leave space open for other teams? the tourney couldn't have gone very far in less then a day.

In regards to making space for more clans, you will have to take this up with Maelstrom. But since the tournament has started, and the matches do not start for a few days, there may still be time.

sry for the double post, but does anybody else think that the death star in the second round is way to big of a map for a 2v2? I mean tantive, jabbas, mustafar, those are all do-able for a small match, but the deaths star is more like a 6v6 map i would think. Tantive is really the only good map for a 2v2 with no AI, but Coruscant is a smaller map that would be better then then death star imo.

It does say the matches are 2vs2 but only because to ease schelduling. I'm asking what about if all players can be present can't we not do a 3vs3 if we so wanted to. Since points, kills etc wont decide who advances I can't see why we can't. But if Maelstrom doesnt want it I have no problem with 2vs2ing. I just want to get the whole team into the mix so they didnt waste there time signing up.

No, the tourny is 2v2 or 3v3, and death star is perfectly suitable for this type of match. If you have an idea for a more suitable one, contact me. My xfire is seanbsly.

All match sizes are 2v2. It is 3 people per team to help with scheduling and subbing. Since this event is 1 month is length, if someone goes away on vacation, you have another person to fill in. In addition, all 3 people MUST have played in the tournament at some point, so there has to be some rotation and strategy.
