Well, I have come to wonder, in all the matches I have played, if I had better ping would I have beaten you? I am usually ridiculed for not doing well on US/Euro servers. Well, my friends, how would you like it if I played you on an Australian server? I would, pretty much without a doubt, ownzor you =P Has anyone else noticed this? Has anyone else ever wondered, "If I had better ping, I wouldve owned you"

SR Pistol - Austrailia - Pwned
SR has the most austrailians to ever play the game. They had around 6-7. One of them could host there own server in Austrailia. I didnt find it much different. I do not think you would own me  Pistol could own many US players on US servers back in his day.
Just my thoughts on the topic.

Eh Havick? I am not saying I get flamed, am flaming, I just want peoples opinions on this particular topic. I think you got the wrong idea lol. I agree Flash, I play with SR Nec, Pizz and Logi a lot. Can beat all cept Nec =S

ok then, no. Euros own hard on american servers. Like vash and glory...U.S. Like Flash and Smurf, I know can hold their own on Euro servers. So if its between 90-60 ping no. Besides the fact your blaster shoots faster, there is no difference. If you have any real skill you will dodge the blaster encounters completely.

and after that this topic could probobly be locked...Monk just destroyed someone lmao....Of course Ping rolls into it. Ping pisses me off, cause ill never truely be able to know if im better than vash,glory,chaos, all the euro pwners...Ping matters alot, but any1 with skillz adjusts to their enviornment sorta ish...like i have been playing alot of euro server matches due to alot of my clan being euro...at first i sucked but as time went on i realized i had to aim ahead a little bit to kill people and then i adjusted to beign rather good with high ping, so now i can play with high and low ping....If a euro plays a 1v1 with an american and has 150 ping, and the american has 60, well that isnt fair and ping matters there.
i think the best thing for a euro and american to do if they want to see who is better, is to play on an austrailian server, but u know what then people will biatch saying "ujust better with 250 ping" which is a fair arguement so itll prob just create more drama.
Furthermore, im kinda wondering why u posted this...i mean ur asking if other people have thought "if my ping was better id be pwning more people" Of course, every1 has thought that...hell ask lebron he was mad because a 1v1 we did i had 40 ping nd he had 60 LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL.But i just dont see what ur gonna gain by knowing whther or not people have thought of it...Ping comes into account, but if ur a skilled player u can get by with high ping.

Agreed with that wrath, i sucked on US servers to but as more as u play u learn how to adapt youre self to the "Ping"
i PWN on americans ervers now, but not as much on euro the but you just need to find youre own way to kill people on a high pinged server.
thats my opinion.

My opinion on this topic:
You can also play good with a high ping ... There is no "lag", there is a delay which let your shot come out later than a low ping. Means: You have to aim somewhere else with a high ping to get a kill.
And if I'm playing on a high ping server, I never use blaster. I snipe or use shotty, because these weapons are "one shot" weapons, so you don't have to aim nonstop on the head.... you just aim a little away from your enemy and shoot him down if you hit him.
If you play in a team CTF, the ping is making it harder, but you can also pwn! The only hard games with high ping vs. low ping are 1 v 1... You don't have a real chance if the low ping guy is using blaster all the time, because your delay let you die even before you shoot...

Well, i live in australia, so im used to fighting with on average 200+ ping. Some ppl are amazed when i snipe them when they have 100- ping lol. I spose if you get used to it, its really not that hard. Curse living in australia >_>

I think everything important has been said by Monk, Wrath and Vash.
In my opinion ping matters, of course. Nobody doubts that. But saying I'm just wondering if I'd have owned you with a better ping is quite offensive, don't you think?
I think we should just drop this, it will probably lead into flaming sooner or later.

Well for the people who dont type completely irrelevant poems about rep com, and dont start topics asking if people with high ping ever think they'd be better with low ping, these forums are pretty cool. We dont post random things therefore we dont find ourselves being flamed that much....except for me but thats cause every1 hates me for speaking the truth...kinda like now.
