I returned from a family trip this weekend to pile of PMs.. This is normal however, as I have been looking at them I see the same theme over and over. Therefore, if the players and clans don't turn this around and fix their HORRIBLE attitudes there will not be an RC event next month. I am sick and tired of bad attitudes, swearing, complaints and people sending complaints for stupid reasons.

Thanks Wrath, from what I've seen/heard 7DS has been outstandingly by the book (no complaints). I think MotR CMD2224 had an issue trying to figure out who Altair was as he was not on your roster. I suggested he PM you.

Foul language is used in everyday life. It shouldn't be a problem for people... People who complain about foul language use it themselves so they really shouldn't complain about it. If they just say it once then there really shouldn't be a problem.
However, If someone abuses the language several times then I could see it being a problem.
BP, I know one of the complaints were about monk... All he said was "poopy head" so that is the kind of language where people should just really ignore it...

Yep. I got that straightened out last night.
Back on topic, if people can't deal with other's swearing, they shouldn't play in matches, as someone is bound to say s---hit or dam---nit out of annusance. It only becomes a problem when attacks, flaming, blasting, w/e are directed at oneself or another continueosly, where when asked to stop, they refuse, and it just get's worse. I nor any other MotR member has had a problem so far with this. Petty stuff like, "BP, HE SAID B*TCH!" is not worth reporting, because you probably have little coping skills.
So please, don't spam a mod's inbox with stuff like that, less you want BW or DW to be cancelled.

First of all, swearing confounds me...I don't understand why people swear profusely. If one feels the need to swear, I don't understand why one cannot keep one's fingers off of certain letters. Even more peculiarly, why do swear words need to be uttered in the public chat?

ROFL that is great, what a response. Yea poopy head is a word that has gone un noticed in the englash society. Its really a great word, its just mis used by nubs like lebron.

That would be the ONE and ONLY exception. We would ban EVERYTHING else after the game begins. even Ns, gf, gj, stuff like that so people dont say "but"... and there is no conflict about stuff

It would be pretty sad if it had to be resorted to banning in-game chat.
After all, isnt it more work to type out these comments to people, it would be much easier to be mature and keep your thoughts to yourself.

Meh, kinda iffy.
I mean, people should just be able to control what they are saying on ingame chat, with a self-control concept in mind. If it has to resort to banning in-game chat, that won't help those being bashed learn self-control over it, or to act mature about what's going on.
In a fictional scenario, say someone is a trash talker, and alway's talks s---hit to those he doesn't like. If that be the case, say.......a steroid addicted wife beater [crazy, right?] comes in, and was provpked by the trash talker. The man on steroids gets so mad, he ends up breaking the guys leg. Hopefully, the trash talker learns, not to talk s---hit, or he might end up getting his leg broke. As compared to the steroid addict, he is sent to jail for a year or so, and learns not to be provoked by the trash talker.
In the long run, it helps you mature, but I would hate to see in-game chat be banned because people are immature.

yea, furthermore it's not really helping you to cuss. it just takes gaming time. and if you just need to cry out some words, then you can do that on your teamspeak, but you should try to avoid that on the public chat for **cks sake. so, if you cuss on the chat, you have to be aware other people might take it "wrong" and it's your own fault.
I've also noticed some overreaction and even lying in AW...
