Gameplay Rules/Settings.
1.Due to a bug in Assault mode,tickets cant be set to anything less then 180.Which means were going to use the honor system.Matches should be played in the following manner.
1v1 =10 Points winner,stop match when a player reaches 10 points and take a screenshot.
2v2 =20 Points winner,stop match when a team reaches 20 points and take a screenshot.
3v3 =30 Points winner,stop match when a team reaches 30 points and take a screenshot.
4v4 =40 Points winner,stop match when a team reaches 40 points and take a screenshot.
Follow the same setup increasing in increments of 10 all the way up to a max of 12vs12 which would be 120 points.
2.Players/Teams must play both sides,one side as Hero and one side as Villain.Each side will be repped as 1 match.Which means for every match which is set up,result will be 2 matches submitted,one from each side of the map.
3.Force powers,optional and should be agreed upon before a match begins.If an agreement cant be met then clubs should compromise agreeing to do 2 matches,1 with Force Powers and 1 without Force powers.Please note that matches that are NO Force powers,only run and jump are acceptable and may be used.
4.Maps,Mos Esily is the standard map that allows for Hero Assault to be played.Mod Maps may be used if all players agree and all players involved have the map that will be used on the server.
5.Please play maturely,no hiding and dragging out matches for unreasonable amounts of time.For a large map like Mos Eisly its recommended that players agree to meet in the Sail Barge arena to help speed up matches.
6.Making false accusations ingames will be viewed as harrassment and result in a possible ban from an event.If a screenshot is received about a player making accusations during a match it will be viewed as interference.The team with the player making the accusations will be given an automatic forfeit of the match and action taken against the individual.Bottom line is keep quiet during a match and play.If a player makes accusations do not get in a argument with them,simply take screenshots and report it to a mod.
7.There is no rule preventing subbing in matches or changing the plyers who are playing,if you agree to play a match 2v2 or higher then it shouldnt matter if a club has to change players last minute or after a round if one player cant play.Bottom line is if you agrre to play,be prepared to play and stop trying to force set team lineups for matches.If a player leaves a match or refuses to play after a match has started because the other team has to use a sub,then the team whos players left and refused to play will be charged with a forfeit.
Submitting Matches
1.Using your screenshot,Go in order and select Clubs for appropiate players.
All players on winning team = Team#1
All Players on Losing Team = Team#2
2.Select players names and type in for each player,Points / Kills / Deaths.
3.Team Bonus/Flags Winning Team recieves 1 for a players.
Losing Team recieves 0 for all players.
General Information
1. All games can meet in either Ecliptical Realms Battle Room, X-Fire, Ventrilo, or Clubs TeamSpeak servers.
2. All Squads/Clans Must be Registered with Ecliptical Realms.
3. All players must be affiliated with a ER registered Squad/Clan.Thier ingame name and tags must match thier club affiliation on ER.
4. Squad/Clan and Player Membership should be verified prior to each Battle event.
5. Game play authorized (team configuration) can be 1 verses 1 up to 12 verses 12. No uneven games will be permitted/authorized or reported.
6. All participants are responsible for taking screenshots of your match. This is very valuable in the case of a dispute. Disputed matches where there are no screenshots for proof will be deleted.
7. Winning teams will report Battle Results of the two games played unless agreed upon by other parties in the match.
Blackballing Rules
1.NO club/player should intentionally engage in a practice of telling thier members not to play certain clubs/players.If there are issues between clubs/players resulting in two sides not wanting to play each other,they should be reported to mods so to prevent escalation of problems.
2.Blackballing may be percieved differently by different people.If you are challenged to a match and have an excuse for refusing but are then seen entering a match soon afterwards against someone else this may be percieved as blackballing.However if you just finished a match against a club and they turn around an challenge you again and you refuse,this is not blackballing since you honored the initial challenge and already played.
3.All incidents of blackballing should be reported to a mod or gaming director or Maelstrom.Please provide specific information along with any proof such as screenshots,TS recordings etc...
Punishment for Blakballing:
1st Offense a severe warning.
2nd Offense a 30 day ban from SWBFII events and ER TS.
3rd Offense a permanet ban from SWBFII events and ER TS.
Please think twice before engaging in blackballing and please remind your own club members of the consequences.
Player Disconnects During Match
1.If player(s) drops,then all players should stop fighting and wait for 5 minutes to allow the person to reconnect.If the player does not return,match should resume with players remaining and the player(s) who disconnect will still get reported in match with scores of all zeros.
2.Unfortunately if you disconnect and rejoin,you start back with zero points,as previous records of your scores will be gone when you disconnected.There will be no attempts made to try and add a players scores from before they disconnected to whatever points they may earn once reconnecting to the match.
Forfeit Reporting
A forfeit cannot be deemed unless the situation is brought before a moderator or game director of Ecliptical Realms.When reporting the forfeit please write in the game description details of the forfeit.
Teams that are deemed in forfeiture will receive the following:
1. 0 points
2. 0 kills
3. 5 deaths
4. 0 Team Bonus
Teams that are the victims of forfeiture will received the following:
1. 10 points
2. 10 kills
3. 5 deaths
4. 1 Team Bonus
Each of these are to be reported for each player on each side in the match.
Unlisted Player Guidelines
Unlisted Player is a tool to help people report a match in the event people failed to check rosters for opponents to verify a persons on a roster.These matches however are not meant to be left unedited.You have the ability to edit a match within 48 hrs. if you reported the match.
1.The person reporting the match must make an attempt to contact the club whos player participated but is not on the roster.Also contact a moderator explaining the match #,player involved and their club name.
2.If the club whos player played and was not on the their roster does not get the unlisted player on their roster within 48 hrs so the person who submitted can edit the match,then the clubs captain that failed to get the unlisted player on their roster will end up having the match reported to the clubs captains name.
3.If the club captain already was involved in the match,then another random member of that club may be chosen by the editing moderator to replace the unlisted player with.
We hope this will encourage all clubs to make sure they keep thier rosters in order and make sure any players who play for your club are on the roster so the matches can be reported properly without needing a moderator to fix them.
Player Misconduct
Please advised that player misconduct is not permitted and could lead to you as player being frozen from the event and also clubs may be held responsible if multiple offenses keep occurring from the same club.
Unacceptable behavior includes:
1.Teamspeak violations-swearing,jumping into clans channels while their in game channel.
2.Unsportsmanlike conduct during matches such as offensive in game chat or harassment.
3.Intentionally joining servers with the purpose to disrupt an ongoing match.
Basically use common sense,everything cant be listed so just because it does not appear in this listing does not mean you may not be held accountable for misconduct.
I would also like to stress,that SWBFII has a team of mods,situations arising during events should be addressed to and handled by this mod team.Clubs who try and use a mod from a different gaming area to handle situations in this section will be percieved as trying to manipulate a situation to thier advantage and subject to being removed from the event and future events.
