ER staff please contact me via the messaging system here at ER for any clarification or issues with my members. I want to help clear some issues if possible....please assist.

1.) If any MotR member is not complying, or even appear to do so, with the event rules- Kick them from the event.

2.) There are multiple members on my roster with usernames using {MotR}merc and numbers following......please ban these members from the event as well until they submit a namechange BACK to what their official MotR username at our forums. I will post back at MotR instructions for them to clear this up. I have a sneaky idea that members are playing for multiple clans at this point.

ATTN: MotR members- pay attention to the rules and if you made a mistake in submitting scores notify an ER Mod immediately. If you are not a commander then do not make posts about MotRclan policies.

3.)

I was informed by my Division COmmander Fish that MotR members changed their names to avoid getting left out of matches(other clans avoiding them). So my initial assumptiom of dual clan membership may not be valid.

UT, I do not want to sit here and make all of MotR look like bad guys here, but on two occasions I have been told by members of MotR who I can and can not use as my parteners during a match. I will send you a pm with the chat logs attached.

Myself and vince have also been personally attacked in game by members of MotR who refuse to read the rules and abide by them. The start losing and call us cheaters and hackers ... its sad and pathetic to see this.

As a former MotR member, I never thought I would see some people stoop so low, and if Fish thinks that his members are being left out of tournaments, records show that MotR gets some of the highest amount of matches on ER.

Going with the trend here ... that is not the reason they are doing this. In fact, my initial response to this was "are they trying to play their frozen players?". I am not one to go pointing fingers, but it does not follow any real logic.

Im only going to say it once. This is not a bash on MotR party here. Keep it clean.

My only issue with these hiden names is that it makes the Mods job of fixing miss reported matches, or any other error that can come up, very difficult to deal with.

It only seems to us mods that we remove one problem only to see another araise, it's very tiring.

I am cool if you all want to hide your names, for games so that you dont feel blackballed, doesnt matter to me. But dont expect other clans to hand out their rosters either. If we're not aloud to know yours I dont see why anyone should be expected to tell you theirs. It's the same issue and there is two sides to the road. Everyone needs to try looking at it from other people's perspective.

Revisting my initial post here:

1.) I expect MODS to treat MotR players the same as other players in different clans. While MotR does not have representation in these events, it is just something we accept....so you can understand why we would feel cornered into a wall sometimes. Even with that being said I would expect MODS to enforce the rules to the letter:

Considering recent incidents, please ban the MotR player for not playing by the rules. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse and that falls on my shoulders for making sure my clan understands the rules.

2.) Name changes- The MotR players wanted to change their names to generic merc titles so they WOULD NOT get black-balled from a match. So my initial assumption that multi-clanning players existed is incorrect. So since their name changes where approved then please continue to allow them to play. I feel all clans have a few members that bail-out of a match when they see a few highly ranked opponents are lined up. This has happened before when I played a lot, and obviously it continues to happen. Personally I don't like the idea of name changing as it is added extra work for the mods and admins. Plus it could effect how the statistics appear over time (Maelstrom may need to check that, but the database is effected).

Furthermore, this just exposes the fact that some players with get more matches than others and cause arguing. Obviously the Unique Opponents statistic is there to incentivize playing different players <<<
Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks UT... Mods please contact him directly and refrain from posting further on this topic if you have issues with his clan. There is nothing wrong with the name changes however ER rules require that the players in game names match their ER name and thats it. As long as this is adhered to I would expect no issues.
