Alright well Sign ups are open and I'm looking for all feedback, comments, suggestions from anyone involving set up for Hero Assault Week.So please post your comments here.

So far here's whats been decided on,
1.No bots
2.Force powers optional, both sides should agree before match set up.If an agreement cant be made then compromise,do one match with and one match without force.
3.A match will consist of playing both sides, heros and villains, with each side getting repped as a seperate match. So really its 2 matches just like for CW and other SWBFII events here.
4.Mod Maps will be allowed as long as all players involved have the map and agree to it.(BTW Im looking for someone to find some fun maps for this event that are smaller then Mos Eisly to help speed up matches,if you know of any please post a link to the download with instructions as to how people install them.)

Now for Assault its impossible to set the tickets at anything less then 180 so it most likely will be a merrit system where all players stop at a certain amount.Im thinking of set amounts for matches.Such as 2v2 to 20,3v3 to 30,4v4 to 40 and so on.Not sure if were going to allow 1v1's in this event yet.But please anyone looking to have some input please post here cause Im shooting to get this event set up very soon.Sign ups are open and reules and match set ups will be done and all feedback in this thread will be discussed.

Lets c a link please. Also, some of u already may have heard of squeddies mapack by eddietoast for SWBF1 and converted to SWBF2 by squipple both at GT. This is the final version and has about no or limited bugs. There r several maps that were converted to sWBF2 by squipple. They r very fun and have hero assualt option. I know this is a big hit at toh.Link for info, download link, installtion instructions, credits: http://www.gametoast.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=9261Also, regarding the SWBF1 Conversion pack 1.9 there r several hero assualt maps and some already shipped maps (Corsucant, Mustafar, etc) have the edition of hero assualt from it.

Conversion pack is nice and all but it still has various problems like having to reinstall the whole game if yo udo decide to uninstall conversion pack. COnversion Pack has a nice variety of Hero assault modes which is great just the installing and uninstalling are the main problems with the mod.

1.9 has its own uninstaller, no need to uninstal the whole thing.

I am new here, so please bear with me. What force powers will be allowed? Will infinite choke (considered a glitch in the heroes community) and lightningchoke (also considered a glitch in the heroes community) be allowed? Also, if there were 1v1 matches, I would most certainly participate.

I also meant to add if wall jumping is illegal in Mos Eisley Hero Assault (it is not considered glitching in the heroes community)

honestly, i didnt read any of the responses but here i go:

I think this will be more popular than space week and maybe almost as popular as ctf week (which i believe is growing in popularity). No offense to space. I love ctw btw. Conquest still rulez tho!

Id participate in hero week if the rules were to my liking (to be honest i think rules will be a big issue here) thats all my honesty for now! gn all

While I think the GT 1.9 Mappack is great, I think it should be mentioned that it changes the game itself. In order to uninstall it you need to have backed up certain files in your data folder or you're stuck doing a full re-install. The uninstaller will remove the mods but the game will crash until you replace the changed files in the data folder or re-install.

A good alternative, that does not change the data file is the +123 mod. This mod adds Hero Assault to most shipped maps and they are all very stable online. You can download it here: http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/file/123;66282

To install, create a folder on your desktop, extract files to this folder. There should be 2 zipped folders named 123 and screenshots. Extract the 123 zip to C:/program files/lucas arts/Star Wars Battlefront II/Gamedata/Addon and you should be all set. Open up your game and you'll see the extra assault modes and some pretty cool hunts too.

The SWBF1 Conversion Pack 1.9 replaces old Common.lvl files and some other files found in the GameData folder. But it does that to support new game modes and bonus content that is accessibile from the main sWBF2 page in the game. And also, I heard +123 mod is combined with the SWBF1 Conversion Pack 1.9 but I could be wrong. It was combined since the same fiels form both mods encoutered each other so they combined them so u can have both. But the SWBF1 mnakes its own hero assualt in Cor and Mus.Squeddies mappack FINAL is also a very good map for HA.Ill post a tutorial on adding maps to the SWBF2 servers using SM/RM.

The +123 Modification is very stable and works well online. A clan in SWBF2 has a 24/7 Heroes Force +123 Modification server that has not had problems yet.

I heard that GT 1.9 Conversion pack wasn't compatable with +123, because both packs are trying to add the same modes on some maps. But, I could be wrong. We definitely need to figure out if what either one of us heard is correct....would clear things up a bit.

Squeddie's pack is great. The only map that has problems, from this pack, running online is Nelvan Village. It crashes players but not server and players are normally able to rejoin the server and it will play. But the rest of the maps seem to be very stable online and are pretty cool. Download Squeddie's Mappack here: http://files.filefront.com/SqueddiesPackzip/;6969185;;/

Does it interfere with +123?
