Due to the fact that Galaxyweek events get much more participation then Invasionweek events, Maelstrom and I have decided to make the future E@W events be Galaxyweek space events only. Unless there is an overwhelming amount of people asking for the schedule to go back to alternating Gw and Iw then the schedule remain Gw only pending the success of an Invasionweek-less schedule.

Space events get over twice as much participation. I think it is pretty clear which events people like more.

Wait a sec. MotR wasn't done with ER E@W already? You guys havent ranked in at least the last 3 events, 2 of which were Invasion weeks. So from what I can tell you are done with E@W at ER because you no longer have the option to play in an event that you don't really play in. Doesn't make sense to be but good luck with it.

Well I personally like space more than land. I dont get to play as many matches in space but I do like it more and I actually play it. I think its a good descion that Krayt did this but like he said, if there is a vast # of people saying they want it back, it should be.

Kryat, how about you do IW one out of every 4 tournaments.  I agree that alternating was not a success, but eliminating land all together is probably not the best answer.

I see no point in complaining. They made the decision off of facts. Invasionweek has died. Is this not the third or fourth time DS has won because there is only a choice few to select from? Personally, I like both, as they have their pros and cons, but space is favored when it comes to this. We need to realize that and let Invasionweek go...

I have considered something like that, but i was thinking more along the lines of 2 Gws for every 1 Iw thus having an Iw every 3 events. Like i said in my first post of the subject, I have no problem in bringing the event back if there is a lot of support. However, as of yet the only people who have posted their support are 2 DS members and a MotR whose clan no longer plays. This isn't exactly the overwhelming support i was looking for.

Thanks Kryat.  There are a few more in DS who support IW as well.  I have a thread in our forums about this very issue.  Still, DS alone can not justify an event.  Hopefully some of the other clans will speak up for IW.

I was Hoping more then 2 DS would speak up as well. A thread in your personal forums is all well and good but if your members want their voices to be heard it needs to be via a forum that people will hear it. If you have a bunch of people posting on your forums that they want Iw to stay then have them post that here or it really does nothing to help. Listen guys, I like Iw, I prefer land matches. But the way the last couple events have gone it is apparent that Gw is worth more of our time. If you want Iw to continue then post that here. People keep telling me that everybody wants Iw to stay but barely any of them have posted that here so i really find that hard to believe. If they cant even take the time to post here (doing the one thing that will make Iw stay) then i cant see how they could possibly be so heart broken over no Iw. If you want Iw to stay, post here saying so. Its as simple as that.

you have a bit of a problem here. Space did take off and i like to think the influx of cosmics helped. but once we get tired of competing like it seems people have with land we will disappear. this game in general is disappearing.... but we'll see how it goes.

Something to that effect would be the best.  Or what Krayt said, 1 IW for every 3 tourneys, I don't think its fair to totally get rid of land for those that still like it.
