Myself and many others are wondering if there will be a BW20, and if so are there any new rules/guidelines to be aware of? we would like to know in advance so we are all on the same page,we ( The Lost Twenty) had some issues with BW19, and we were told that these issues were being addressed by the ER staff, and would be resolved, thanks,

dark ( SWB1 Captain for the TL20 clan )

Hey Dark, thank you for your questions!

Yes, we are addressing a few issues, such as reinforcements, dedicated servers (AA), and map rotation, among others. We will let you know shortly what the outcome is, but if you have any extra imput we would love to hear it!

Thanks Fookage, yes I have another question actually, my son is also in the TL20 Clan, however we use the same computer, hence we have the same IP address, he plays during the day while i'm at work, Now if TL20 continues in ER Battle Weeks I would like to involve him, I mentioned this to other participants in BW19 and they said they had the same issue, is there a way around this?

If you have 2 computers, then you can both play at the same time. Other than that, since ER only lets an IP address have 1 account, we would have to get Maelstrom to create an account for him, if it hasnt already been done.

It has not been done, and we only have 1 PC, so if Maelstrom could make up an account for TL20_jeremy that would be great.

Something was missed as it was my understanding that it was taken care of. Maybe it was on the verge of being finalized. see below, Originally written by {NJO}MjrNut on 2007-07-13 1:27 PMMaelstrom,This is just a followup on the TL20 Jeremy account. You should have received an email from TL20 Dark regarding this.An additional player from JMMC has same situation as above. In this case it is for brothers, rather than father and son for TL20. You might have received email or PM from JMMC member.Thanks.ps. how late could ppl sign up? There are some draggers and some cannot play b/c the club captains in not in contact to get their club signed up. How might we handle this? Example, single TPR player GammaTigerx wants to play, but cannot b/c his TPR club is not signed up for the event for reason mentioned (no captain).Hi MjrNut,I took care of TL20 and I have not received one from JMMC.People can sign up with their club at any time. If a club needs to signup for the event, there is a link on the left menu for the event called "Admin Team Signup". You can add a team to the event this way. If a club needs a new captain, let me know and I can change the captain of the club.Maelstrom

Sounds good, I am looking forward to viewing any changes to battle weeks, TL20 will need to view any changes to the rules no later then 1 week before the start of battle week, in order to participate, sorry but I will not walk into this battle week blind so to speak, I have 6 members of TL20 on our SWB1 roster and as captain I am responsible for explaining the rules/guidelines to them, I hope you understand,

Thanks,
dark

For now, well keep the rules the same, and make sure that map rotations are agreed to before each match.

As for the auto aim issue, its all fixed now.

How do we guarantee that the map rotation was agreed upon? should we copy our x-fire conversation and submit it as proof? or just keep it saved to a text file for later proof, in case it is disputed later? also you say AA is fixed? can you elaborate please? does that mean that ER moderators will be monitoring servers to guarantee AA is off? or does that mean that you will be providing servers for all ER matches? I ask this because I do not want to play 4 rounds and then have someone tell me that we have to forfeit because the server we were playing on had AA on.

Aside from monitoring the games, we have a specific BF non-dedicated server that has the settings already to go. Its in the ER downloads section. All you have to do is install it on your desktop, and it has all the settings pre-done for you for if your hosting a game. This was a big problem last event because there are very few servers out there, and no one could find one to use that had AA off. It should be all good now.

As for the map rotation, its simple. Agree on it in xfire or TS or whatever your using. If a match is disputed (which they rarely are) becasue of it, well know that it wasnt agreed upon and that it should not count.

No one could find a server with AA off....what a bunch of crock!!!! Hey, whatever makes you sleep better to justify your own rule infractions, much less go 'check' on other players to see if they are complying (knowingly or not). The best part here is that the SWBF2 people are moderating a SWBF1 event.....yep, no regrets seeing as how I alone held this event accountable.

Let me make this simple for you. You are not spreading your BS here on my site especially since you prevented me from posting on your site. Your so-called evidence is manufactured crap only to get revenge against ER moderators because you did not get your way and threw a tantrum. I will congratulate you on talking Zen into making you an admin on her site, especially since you accused her of cheating as well since she is in your screenshots of *cough* evidence. So, I invite you to take a chance and respond because I will ban you and all the "extra" IPs you use to access sites.

You said you pulled out of ER, so why don't you heed your own advice before I help you out.

Mael,

1.  There is nothing complicated here.  It is clear that NJO is being blamed for things, in this case, that awards are delayed just b/c of NJO.  It's just pretty obvious that the scores are there, intact..... and thus awards can be provided.

2.  As I posted to you elsewhere, you ARE NOT prevented from posting on our site.  I invited you to register, I invited you to contact me.  Nothing has been done by me or any other to explicitly prevent you from addressing whatever you need to.  From what I can tell, you have fabricated that accusation.  Again, my invitation is still to you in order for you and me to address the "real" issues.  Your choice.

3.  I manufactured no crap at all.  The screenshots are all valid, the xfire's are all valid.  Why would I go to all that trouble to manufacture issues, when I alone, just me, tripled the amount of participation at ER?  Only to degrade and knock it down as an ulterior motive?  Geez, I do have better things to do, which is to promote and endorse responsible and accountable gaming competition.

4.  You defnitely don't read well either.  I did not accuse Zen of cheating.  I discussd and asked her if she was aware of the settings in her match with Fookage.  She was unaware.  My accusation was clearly towards Fookage.  Simple as that.

5. Thanks for the congrats of helping Zen out too.  We need itl

6.  I have 'extra' IPs b/c i travel for work.  But do what you will.  It is your site.  But I guess you think I'm being melevolant, I assure you I'm not.  I remind you, that I sent you a PM on the JOV site with an apology to you.  I reiterate it to you, b/c my primary angst is with Krayt and Fookage.  I did not deserve to be degraded and belittled on my own server in a match with them (as one example amongst others).

7.  So, the ball is in your court.  I have said that my evidence and statements have always been up for discussion.  You have yet to go through them to my knowledge.  However, if you are willing, I am willing to move towards a resolution.

Look forward to your response, PM, or xfire.

Regards,
