Just wondering if theres any chance for a seige week.Maybe the end of November since theres a 5th Week in Nov.I know quite a few people mentioned a Movie Battles week but not sure how server avaialbility would be for that.I know I'd be willing to use our USA server for a seige or a Movie Battles week(of course I would need the movie battle mod and probably help installing it).

Anyhow just thought I'd bring this up again cause this past Saberweek there seemed to be some interest from people when talking about it on the servers between matches.

Well if for seige it would be simple,both teams must play both sides of the map.One round Rebels,one round Empire.Each round gets repped as a seperate match.SO basically it accounts to 2 matches played for each map played as is done in most other events here.
The only issue will be that when the team that goes first to accomplish the objectives,the time they complete it in is the same time the opposite side has to complete it in when switching sides which could cause problems with people not agreeing who starts first on which side.SO the solution to this would be that time is not a factor.It should be based on the points earned by players during a round.When players switch sides then the map should then be restarted so time is reset so not a factor.

If you decide on Movie Battles,then I have no idea cause I have never played it.I when to thier website to try downloading the mod and the download wasnt working.

Well... Actually I was asking what the 'Siege' is? It's some kind of mod? Besides, what you describe reminds me of SW:BattleFront.

No its not a mod,its a part of the game itself.Next time your on a server click on callvote and gametype and scroll through FFA/TFFA/CTF and Seige is also there.It came standard with JKA,its not a mod

me in and like Vis said there are more clans into something as cheacky as that :P

Would be even cooler to do the airmap.... mp_destroyer.pk3.... Whoohoooo :P "but w/e =)

I can host 2 servers of 12 slots if u wanna..... tho siege is un for 5 vs 5 etc :P

Well, I'll try asking people about this during forthcoming event.
If enough people will show interest in this, we can make a test-event at the end of november.

Well ET said he can provide 2 Euro servers and I can provide 2 definate USA servers and possibly a 3rd.So at the least wed have 4 servers avaialble for a seige event.
