Yea as godspeed said of course it is allowed , aslong as both teams agree on it! We keep the "backup" match as de_dust2 because it is the most popular match for scrims , pubs and therefore everyone is familar with it.

It would be unfair to put the "backup" map as a map that everybody isnt familar with remember there reall is no default map , both teams decide what map they wish to play on if they cannot agree on a map then they play on the one they both know so it is fair.

Hence the "backup" map de_dust2.

it is hypnotizing... i mean, wth is he laughing about? whats he doing, and why does he look so gay? creepy avatar

nd i know that its supposed to something that everyone is familiar with, but it's being used as a kind of crutch. No one tries to branch out into other maps cept SA. What if we set it to aztec or ...dare i say dust? russka would be lol for a backup. What about that one or even nuke?

Aztec, nuke, and dust are pretty popular as well. Nobody knows russka too well, so maybe that'd be fun for awhile. Instead of maps everyone knows, maps nobody knows.

if u get 100% of the clans to agree to setting it to that then yes , otherwise no because I wont set it to a map that a clan may not have tactics for or not be familiar with because then your giving them an unfair advantage from the start.

Tho if you wish , why not do double matchs? 1 side picks a map their team wants , the other picks 1 their side wants?

u can easily say since yall dont want to play d2 and neither do we but we cant reach a agreement, y not play the 2 maps both clans want, such as 1 clan might want de_cpl_fire and the other one might want de_nuke. y not just play both maps and make both clans happy?

such as in the higher tournaments such as playoffs for cal-i, later on in the playoffs they start having to do 3 maps instead of the chosen 1, such as Home Team Choose 1 Map, then Away Team Chooses 1 map, then the third map is the pre-set map. that away both teams can show off what they know on their chosen map instead of learning 1 map all week. the map is recorded all as 1 in that league tho.
its reped as a normal 16 round game, just lets say we do this set up and on the first map we choose and we beat the other team by 5 rounds then we switch maps and they beat us by 5 rounds, then on the last map we beat them by 12 rounds u would just rep as a 16-5 since the 16-11 and the 11-16 just neutralize eachother.

wow, that seems complicated, but i think it sounds goood, so no team just dominates on one map, they have to show their skills on all maps.
